Performance EnglishThe Performance English program has demonstrated that to write fluently students must write signicant amounts daily; to write correctly they must learn the conventions of grammar, punctuation, and spelling; and to write imaginatively they must read imaginative literature.
This course will demonstrate how making connections between aural, oral, and written language leads students to a natural and pleasurable engagement with literature and to considerable skill, confidence, and pride in writing. Teachers will learn to combine theory in the development of language skills with daily practice in classroom teaching routines and methodologies.
