The CRDG's art department sponsors the Summer Art Experience Institute for teachers. These courses, described as enhancement experience in art,
- are designed for K–12 teachers.
- are 500-level in-service courses earning 1 or 2 University of Hawai'i credits.
- offer engaging studio experience with personal attention by master teachers.
- address Hawai`i's Department of Education Performance Standards.
