Bharatnatyam dancer and teacher, Dr. Anita Shanmuganathan, is being hosted by UHM’s Theatre and Dance department, and the CSAS as the Rama Watumull Distinguished Indian Scholar.
Bharatnatyam dancer and teacher, Dr. Anita Shanmuganathan, is being hosted by UHM’s Theatre and Dance department, and the CSAS as the Rama Watumull Distinguished Indian Scholar.
Dr. Shanmuganathan is visiting us from Chennai’s Bharata Kalanjali, a premier dance institution, and the Aeka Academy of Fine Arts of which she is the creative director. She is teaching DNC 301, Asian Dance, on M, W, F between 3:30 and 4:45 pm at the DB Studio.
