We provide here summaries of some key theoretical perspectives that inform CSLR projects. Development of this resource is ongoing and will be periodically updated.
Bibliography
This bibliography compiles references for current research on K-12 second language
education. The bibliography focuses on five areas: 1) critical qualitative
research, 2) new literacy studies, 3) content- and project-based ESL learning,
4) media-based instruction, and 5) NCLB policies and second language education.
Brief bibliographic annotations for selected references are accessible via
the hypertext links in the reference list below. Began in the summer of 2005,
this bibliographic compilation is ongoing and will be updated periodically.
