Summer Bridge Program

HCOP students

Applications are now being accepted for the
Summer 2016 program.

New application deadline is May 27, 2016

The HCOP Summer Bridge Health Careers Preparatory and Academic Enrichment Program will provide activities for transfer students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enhance their successful entry and timely completion into a health degree program, increase their understanding of the health care professions, and training in health research. We are accepting applicants who will be transferring to UH-Mānoa in Fall 2016 or Spring 2017.

The 4-week residential program will be from July 10, 2016 – August 6, 2016 and will include a full scholarship for on-campus housing, meals, and other education costs for the summer program. We will also cover the cost of airfare for students who do not currently reside on Oahu.

The program is made possible through a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in partnership with the UH School of Medicine.
