Program Participants
McNair scholars spend eight weeks during the summer working on research projects in their respective areas of academic interest under the guidance of individual faculty mentors. At the conclusion of the internships, the students make presentations of their research projects at the annual McNair Summer Showcase, a campus event, named "Big Research, Little Island."

The McNair Scholar Pledge
