College Opportunities Program

The College Opportunities Program (COP) recruits, screens, and selects disadvantaged or non-traditional Hawaiians, Filipinos, Samoans, and other under-represented ethnic groups at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa who are denied regular admissions. COP is a "Summer and First-Year Residential College Experience for the Disadvantaged Hawai`i Resident" seeking a bachelor's degree. A free six-week live-in summer program provides possible access for fall enrollment and the academic-social skills necessary for a successful first year at UHM.
