A grade of "C" or higher in BIOL 120, or a grade of "C" or higher in BIOL 130, or a grade of "C" or higher in both ZOOL 141 and 142, or a grade of "C" or higher in higher-level human anatomy and physiology course; a grade of "C" or higher in HLTH 110 or a grade of "C" or higher in HLTH 125; OR Certificate of Achievement in Medical Assisting.
HLTH 160 covers basic concepts and characteristics of disease processes; etiology, methods of control, and development of selected diseases from each major body system.

This HLTH 160 class section (CRN 31456) is conducted on the Internet.
The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Familiarity with using a computer and basic Internet skills (browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) is required. Students must have a computer with Internet access. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime.
