Course Prerequisites: ENG 22 with grade C or better or placement at ENG 100, and MATH 18 or 22 with grade C or better or placement at leaset MATH 22 or 82, or consent.
Course Description: Integrates basic concepts of science with the study of human nutrition. Introduces students to nutrients and what food and nutrients do for humans. Looks at how healthy people can best get the amounts of nutrients and food they need throughout their lifetime. Studies how people and the environment change nutrient content.
