Course Description: Writing intensive.
An introduction to two major types of English literature: poetry and drama. Students will read, analyze, and discuss poems and plays as well as learn how to apply principles of interpretation to other literary works. The goal of the course is to help students achieve a greater
understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of literature.
