Course Description:
Geological, physical, and biological aspects of the ocean; structure, formation, and features of ocean basins; seawater properties and their distributions; currents, waves, tides; characteristics of marine organisms; marine ecological principles. (No more than 3 credits may
be granted for the completion of both Ocn 201 and Geol 201 at UHH College of Arts and Sciences.)
