Course Restrictions: Priority enrollment is given to the distance learning students in the Social Sciences - Applied Track (BASS) program. Any remaining seats will open to all students on May 19, 9 a.m.
Course Requirements: This is an online course with four mandatory meetings. Oahu students will be required to attend four on-campus meetings TBA. Neighbor island students will be required to participate in four in-person meetings via SKYPE.
Course Description: An examination of the various stages involved in social research. Areas to be covered include the relationship between theory and research methods, sampling and measurement, research designs, data collection instruments, and data analysis and reporting.
