A grade of "C" or higher in SPAN 102, or satisfactory score on language placement test, or instructor consent.
SPAN 201 is a continuation of SPAN 102. Students will refine basic language skills acquired in Beginning Spanish through reading, conversation, writing, listening, vocabulary development,
and grammar review. Communicative practice with peers, instructor, native-speakers, and articulated language lab activities will develop confidence and fluency in written and oral expression. Cultural readings and presentations will enhance knowledge and appreciation of the presence and influence of the Spanish language
and Hispanic culture in the world.
