Course Prerequisites: Prerequisite (s):
A grade of "C" or better in MATH 24 or a placement test recommendation of MATH 25.
Course Description: A continuation of basic algebra topics, MATH 25, is the second course in a two semester sequence of Elementary Algebra courses. Instruction includes units on exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, and quadratic equations.
Textbooks: A MyMathLab access code is provided with the textbooks for online homework assignments, quizzes, and/or exams.

Books may be purchased at the Kapiolani CC bookstore or ordered online at http://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/uhkcc/home.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet or unable to travel to the bookstore, you may also order by phone at 1-800-UHBOOKS
Technical Requirements: A scientific calculator is required.
