| Course Description: | Introduces activities and skills needed to successfully manage both domestic and international organizations with an emphasis on decision-making. Includes communication, work motivation, group dynamics, leadership and organizational change, conflict, personality, and teamwork. Relates these concepts to performance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. |

| Technical Requirements: | Cable allows students to take a course at home. To enroll in a cable course, students must subscribe to Oceanic Time Warner Cable to view the higher education access channel:
Oahu County: Olelo channel 55 Maui County: MCCTV channel 55 Hawaii County: Na Leo O Hawaii channel 55 Kauai County: Hoike channel 55 Before registering for the course, prospective students should check with their cable provider or programming line-up to verify they can view the education cable access channel at their home. If student resides in a region of their county that is unable to receive the educational cable access channel listed above, the student should not register for this course via cable. It is recommended that students also have an email address and access to a computer with Internet connection to communicate with instructor and classmates. For more information in regards to obtaining a UH email account please go to the following website: http://www.hawaii.edu/askus/563 It is recommended that students videotape the broadcast of their class sessions in case they are unable to view it during the scheduled broadcast time.
