| Course Description: | Introduces nursing care for semi-acute or convalescent clients in the hospital and/or long-term care setting. Upon completion of the course, nurse aides work under supervision of a registered or practical nurse. Includes beginning level nursing for those interested in this health field. |

| Technical Requirements: | Cable allows students to take a course at home. To enroll in a cable course, students must subscribe to Oceanic Cable to view the higher education access channel:
Maui County: MCCTV channel 55 Before registering for the course, prospective students should check with their cable provider or programming line-up to verify they can view the education cable access channel at their home. If student resides in a region of their county that is unable to receive the educational cable access channel listed above, the student should not register for this course via cable. It is recommended that students also have an email address and access to a computer with Internet connection to communicate with instructor and classmates.
