Schedule Notes: Includes a required lab at the Kahului campus.
Course Restrictions: Open to students on the island of Maui only.
Course Prerequisites: SCI 121 or BIOL 100 or ZOOL 101 or BIOC 241, or high school biology with at least a B, and placement at ENG 100, or consent.
Course Description: Covers anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry of humans including terminology, cell structure, tissues, skin, and the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems.

Technical Requirements: Cable allows students to take a course at home. To enroll in a cable course, students must subscribe to Oceanic Cable to view the higher education access channel:

Before registering for the course, prospective students should check with their cable provider or programming line-up to verify they can view the education cable access channel at their home. If student resides in a region of their county that is unable to receive the educational cable access channel listed above, the student should not register for this course via cable.

It is recommended that students videotape the broadcast of their class sessions in case they are unable to view it during the scheduled broadcast time. Students should be familiar with setting the timer on their VCR to record.
