Course Prerequisites:
Rec Prep: Completion of MATH 75 or higher with a CR grade or higher and completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENG 24 or equivalent. TEN-KEY ADDITION TESTS TO BE CONDUCTED LIVE AT LEEWARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE. TIME AND DATE TO BE DETERMINED.
Course Description:
Introduces various quantitative computational procedures used in accounting and finance such as present and future value concepts, payroll, inventory, and international currency exchange rates. Utilization of the electronic 10-key pad as a tool for calculating will be stressed.

Technical Requirements:
The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Familiarity with using a computer and basic Internet skills (browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) is required. Students must have a computer with Internet access. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime. Students taking an online course should always contact their instructor after registration or prior to the first day of class to get detailed information regarding the course.
