Course Requirements:
This is a distance section delivered through the World Wide Web. Majority of learning and practice, and all exams, are computerized and done online with required
MyMathLab access code. New textbook packages at the Leeward CC bookstore include the required access code. Students with existing MyMathLab account
from Briggs, Calculus for Scientists and Engineers can continue access at no additional charge. But new students considering purchasing the textbook
elsewhere must ensure MyMathLab code is included or must purchase access online. Exams must be proctored and taken on campus in approved locations.
Prior to first class meeting, check UH email for more details about textbook, access code, and exams.
Course Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 231 (numbered MATH 243 at UH Manoa and UH West Oahu), or articulated equivalent, within the past two years.
Course Description:
Math 232 is the fourth course in the calculus sequence. Topics
include multiple integrals, line integrals, Green’s Theorem, surface
integrals, Stokes’ Theorem, Gauss’s Theorem, and differential
equations.
