Course Description: Develops skills necessary to recognize an opportunity, and evaluate the viability of an idea, prior to the investment of significant time and money. Uses student teams to develop, present, and critique entrepreneurial startups.

Technical Requirements: The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime. Minimum Computer Hardware/Software Requirements:
PC with Windows 98, NT, 2000 or XP or a Macintosh II running System 9. Netscape Navigator 7.0 or higher, or Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher; a 56k modem connection (DSL or Roadrunner recommended); an e-mail client; word procession software (e.g. Microsoft Word/Works, Clarisworks, etc.); and basic internet skills (browsing, sending email, saving/sending files.
