Course Prerequisites: Recommended Preparation:
ICS 101 or ICS 100.

Qualification for MATH 24 or higher; ENG 22 or higher.
Course Description: ACC 201 is an introduction to accounting theory and methods to record and report financial information for sole proprietorships in service and retail operations. Introduction to accounting theory and methods for partnerships.

This class has a 16 week schedule and it is not self-paced.
Textbooks: Books may be purchased at the Kapiolani CC bookstore or ordered online at http://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/uhkcc/home.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet or unable to travel to the bookstore, you may also order by phone at 1-800-UHBOOKS
Technical Requirements: The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime. Students taking an online course should always contact their instructor after registration or prior to the first day of class to get detailed information regarding the course.
