Course Requirements: Students must have ready access to a computer with a broadband internet connection; a CD-ROM or DVD drive, an installed, updated browser, a UH email account; and skills to use these effectively.

All exams must be taken in a proctored testing center.
Course Prerequisites: Recommended Preparation:
CHEM 100 or higher or biochemistry course; a college level biology or zoology course.
Course Description: BIOL 130 focuses on the structure and function of the human body which includes a study of its gross anatomy, microanatomy, physiology, pathology, and pathophysiology.
Textbooks: Books may be purchased at the Kapiolani CC bookstore or ordered online at http://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/uhkcc/home.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet or unable to travel to the bookstore, you may also order by phone at 1-800-UHBOOKS
