| Course Description: | Students learn the concepts and methods of modern physics. Emphasis on comprehension of the scientific approach to problem solving and understanding of fundamentals of physics in motion, forces and energy, heat and sound, structure of matter, electricity and magnetism, light and relativity. Course designed for liberal arts students and as preparation for mathematics-based physics courses. |
