| Course Description: | An introduction to medical terminology that includes: prefixes, suffixes, and word roots; pronunciation, spelling, definition of words dealing with human body systems; commonly used abbreviation and symbols; diagnostic and special procedures; pathology and pharmacology. Emphasis is on increasing professional vocabulary. |
