|Course Description:||BUS 120 focuses on in depth analysis of and perspective to the role of a business enterprise in a capitalistic society with emphasis on the functional processes of a business and of the force fields that affect the modes of business behavior. Course requirements will include examinations and a research project.
This BUS 120 class section (CRN 31144) is conducted on the Internet. This class section is not self-paced.
|Textbooks:||MyBizLab is a required tutorial and homework application for this course. A license for its use is included with each new textbook purchased. Students buying a used text or ordering one online which does not include the license will be required to purchase the program either online or from the bookstore.
Books may be purchased at the Kapiolani CC bookstore or ordered online at http://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/uhkcc/home.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet or unable to travel to the bookstore, you may also order by phone at 1-800-UHBOOKS.
|Technical Requirements:||The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime. Students taking an online course should always contact their instructor after registration or prior to the first day of class to get detailed information regarding the course.
