| Course Description: | Examines Hawai'i as a unique, special place. Physical geography (volcanoes, erosion, climate, water resources, natural hazards), cultural geography (pre-contact society, the monarchy, economic change, agriculture, tourism, energy, population, land use, transportation, and urbanization), and regional geography of each island will be presented. |
