|Course Description:||Examines Hawai'i as a unique, special place. Physical geography (volcanoes, erosion, climate, water resources, natural hazards), cultural geography (pre-contact society, the monarchy, economic change, agriculture, tourism, energy, population, land use, transportation, and urbanization), and regional geography of each island will be presented.|

|Technical Requirements:||*Must be an Oceanic Time Warner Cable subscriber. UHTV programming is not available on satellite TV systems.
*Oceanic Time Warner Cable Digital TV subscribers may view UHTV programming on channel 355.
*Oceanic Time Warner Cable Digital TV subscribers may also view state-wide cable classes on the UH VOD channel 358. Must have a digital cable box to access VOD channel.
*Oceanic Time Warner Cable Standard or Basic TV subscribers
-that own an HD Television with a QAM tuner, may view UHTV programming on channel 46.55 (27.55 for Maui County).
-that do not have an HD Television, may contact the Oceanic Cable Customer Service Center at (808) 643-2100 to find out how to get a digital cable box free of charge for so long as you maintain your existing analog service subscription. Some restrictions apply.
