Course Description: Second level course in which concepts regarding the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of mental health are presented within the
framework of the nursing process. Emphasis is on nursing management of clients and families experiencing disruptions in psychosocial
functioning. Clinical experiences in institutional and community based settings.
