Students are required to attend the following meeting dates: January 22, Feb 5, Mar 5, and April 9, 2014 in room LA-230.
Course Prerequisites: ENG 100 or equivalent with a grade of C or higher; or approval from the Language Arts Division
Course Description: ENG 207 is a writing workshop designed for students with some knowledge of fiction writing. Through the creation of original short stories and the analysis of published work and student drafts, students will gain knowledge and experience as well as develop creativity within the fiction genre.
Textbooks: The Art of the Story: An International Anthology of Contemporary Short Stories edited by Daniel Halpern.
Additional Notes: This will be a hybrid class,requiring in person and online attendance.

There are four mandatory meeting days: January 22, February 5, March 5, and April 9, 2014 from 7-9PM LA-230.
