Course Requirements: This is an internet class with mandatory chat times on Tuesdays, 5:00pm-6:00pm.
Course Prerequisites: Pre: ENG 100.
Course Description: Investigates the fantasy and reality of the cultures of Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia. It explores the original formation and peopling of the islands; the different social, political, economic, and religious systems that developed; and the history of foreign contact and culture change.
