Course Prerequisites: 300 or one 300 level ES course, or consent
Course Description: The development of ethnic relations and political approaches to multiculturalism in two multiethnic nations: Canada and the U.S. A-F only. (Cross-listed as ES 492) DS
Textbooks: Books may be purchased at the UH Manoa bookstore or ordered online at http://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/manoa/home.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet or unable to travel to the bookstore, you may also order by phone at 1-800-UHBOOKS
Technical Requirements: The Internet allows students to take a course at home using a personal computer. Depending on the online course, students may be required to log in at a specific day and time or at anytime. Students taking an online course should always contact their instructor after registration or prior to the first day of class to get detailed information regarding the course.

Must have basic internet skills (browsing, sending email, saving/sending files).

Additional Notes: Tuition for extension term classes is charged per credit and is NOT included in Fall/Spring semester tuition.
