TI406 or teacher approval
Course Description:
Students learn how to work as a professional medical interpreter in healthcare settings and with doctors, nurses and patients of different cultures and medical concepts. Students learn the major bodily systems, their functions, common illnesses and treatments, build bilingual glossaries, and get hands-on practice of various medical interpreting situations and techniques.
