Course Restrictions: Hawaii Statewide Nursing Consortium students only
Course Requirements: This course is designed to complete the Hawaii Statewide Nursing Consortium Curriculum's focus on nursing research. It is designed for the junior year in nursing.
Course Prerequisites: Any of the following stats courses: Math 115, NREM 310, EDEP 429, SOCS 225, Psy 210, Bus 310, Econ 321
Course Description: Introduction to the research process and an understanding of the applicability of the scientific approach to nursing

Technical Requirements: This interactive video (ITV) course is delivered using the UH Hawaii Interactive Television Service (HITS). It allows students to attend the course at on SPECIFIC DAYS/TIME and CAMPUS other than the campus where the instructor originates the course. Therefore, distance learners must attend each class session at the SPECIFIC DAYS/TIME and SPECIFIC CAMPUS listed above.

Course also includes an online component. Familiarity with using a computer and basic Internet skills (browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) is required.
