| Course Description: | A survey of Hawaiian literature in English translation is studied in the context of the Hawaiian culture. Its characteristics, forms, relation to other Hawaiian arts, history and society are examined. Hawaiian literature can include but is not limited to prose narration, poetry and orature. |
