UH Faculty interested in scheduling a distance learning course should contact their campus distance learning coordinators to discuss planning involved in the delivery of the course offering, view the contact table. For general information, faculty can also contact AT (Academic Technologies) at (808) 956-5023.

DL Course Request Form
Faculty (or their campus distance learning coordinator) must complete and submit the Distance Learning Course Request Form online for cable and ITV course offerings. The AT Distance Learning Coordinator will notify requestors when their courses are scheduled or contact requestors should there be any scheduling conflicts.

Course in a Current DL Program
Courses in approved DL programs have priority.

Individual Course (special requests)
Courses that are not part an approved DL program but have special needs (collaboration between campuses, sharing of faculty) will be accommodated based on availability of the system.

Online Courses
While it is not necessary to submit a course request form for online courses, to have online course offerings shown on the University Distance Learning website, departments must fill out and submit the Distance Learning Course Request Form to AT.

Form Submission Deadline

Spring Semester - Third Friday of the previous semester
Fall Semester - Third Friday of the previous semester
Summer - Third Friday of December
