Procedures for Administration of (DL) Tests

At least five (5) working days prior to the desired test administration dates:

  1. Complete the Instructions for Administration of Tests form [pdf]
  2. Print on the exams: Course title/number, Instructor's name and campus
  3. Forward completed forms with exams to the appropriate proctoring sites where your students are likely to report for testing.
  4. Attach a sufficient number of copies of the test for all students who may sit for the exam. The exams and forms may be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the sites. IF faxing or emailing as an attachment, be sure to indicate the number of exams to be photocopied. If they are sent via e-mail, the Email
Instructions for Administration of Tests Form [MS Word]
    may be used.
  5. Attach a list of all students who will take the test at each site or provide a copy of the official class list. This ensures only bona fide students are given the exam.
  6. Advise students to contact testing center before walking in. Testing centers have different procedures and testing hours.

Important Reminders:

  1. Tests will NOT be administered AFTER the specified dates given unless the instructor contacts the testing center by phone or email. It is the student's responsibility to contact the instructor for permission to take the test after the date.
  2. Changes/corrections to the exams will not be made at the testing centers.
  3. Testing centers will NOT provide materials/supplies needed for taking exams, eg. paper, calculator. It's the student's responsibility to bring what they need to take the exam.
