"High Tech Hawai'i" looks at Technology at the 2000 Legislature
Guests: Senator David Ige and Representative David Morihara
Host: David Lassner

The first crossover of bills passing between the chambers of the 2000 Legislature provides a good time to assess the status of legislative measures that may impact Hawaii's technology environment and future. Senator David Ige, Chair of the Senate Committee on Education and Technology, and Representative David Morihara, Chair of the House Higher Education Committee and one of the members of the party that accompanied the Governor to Silicon Valley last month, will join host David Lassner of the University of Hawai'i to discuss the measures that are still alive and prospects for change this session.

During the live airing of the program, questions may be called in to 956-5670 or 1-800-342-7949 (neighbor islands), or sent by email to hth@hawaii.edu.
