UHTV represents University of Hawaii
distance learning programs delivered via cable
television. Distributed Learning and User Services
(DLUS) coordinates and distributes UHTV programming
to educational cable access channels statewide. As
part of their cable franchise agreement, all
commercial cable companies in Hawaii`i provide
public access channels for educational
programming.

Distance
Learning Cable Courses
The University
of Hawaii system provides a number of cable courses. Cable courses
are live or taped. Students are able to attend a class in the convenience
of their home by tuning into their local educational access channel.
To enroll in a cable course, UH students must have access to one of
the following educational access channels:
