The DMC has staff available to show you how to use the equipment and software. Certain tasks that require extended lengths of time such as rendering video or burning a DVD may be left with staff to complete. Although walk-ins are welcome, appointments are requested so equipment or software can be set up ahead of time. Software Support :
Faculty and staff who require help with various software are welcome to visit the DMC for assistance. We provide introductory training for software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, iMovie, iDVD, Audacity, Laulima tools, Halawai (Adobe Connect) and others. Slide scanners are available along with flat-bed scanners. Scans can be made for web pages, publications, videos, archiving, and for Powerpoint slides.

The DMC has Apple computers equipped with iMovie for video editing and iDVD for DVD authoring. VCR players and DVD recorders are available to digitize from video tape. Video can also be converted to various formats for the Web.
