You have access to eCAFE if you are one or more of the following:

• A staff member with department editing permission.
• An active instructor member who is currently teaching classes.
• A student who is currently enrolled in classes.

What is eCAFE?

eCAFE is an entirely online evaluation system, everything from setting the questions, to the students taking the surveys, to viewing the results is done online at http://www.hawaii.edu/ecafe. There are 4 phases to eCAFE:

• Staff Setup (Mon., Feb 1 - Thu., Feb 18) - A Staff member is an officially designated user representing an organization (A campus, college, division, department, or subject). This user sets questions that will appear on all surveys for courses within that organization. The Staff user also designates a few instructor-specific settings.
• Instructor Setup (Mon, Mar 8 - Thu, Mar 25) - Instructors select questions to be added to their survey in addition to those selected by Staff.
• Evaluation (Mon, April 19 - Thu, May 6) - Students submit their completed evaluations.
• Results (Thursday, May 20th) - Evaluation results are available for viewing.

If your organization (campus, college, division, department, or subject) would like to use eCAFE this semester, please contact us at ecafe-uhm@hawaii.edu ASAP so we may set up an account for you.

Nightly Maintenance

eCAFE will be unavailable for nightly maintenance from 2:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. HST.
