What is eCAFE?


eCAFE is the Official University of Hawaii Course And Faculty Evaluation System. eCAFE is an entirely online evaluation system, everything from setting the questions to filling out the evaluations and viewing the results is done online.

There are 5 phases to eCAFE:
Staff SetupTuesday, May 22, 2012 - Thursday, May 31, 2012An officially authorized user turns on evaluations and sets questions that will appear on all evaluations for courses/instructors under their control.
Instructor SetupTuesday, June 5, 2012 - Thursday, June 14, 2012Instructors turn on/off their personal evaluations and select questions.
EvaluationTuesday, June 19, 2012 - Thursday, June 28, 2012Students submit their completed evaluations.
ResultsThursday, July 12, 2012Evaluation results are available for viewing by instructors.
PublishMonday, July 30, 2012Published results are released for public viewing.

How can I use eCAFE?


If your campus, college, division, department, or subject would like to use eCAFE, please contact your campus coordinator to set up an account.

If you are an instructor who wants to use eCAFE, log in using your UH username and password during the instructor period (posted above) and enable and edit your surveys. You may also log in at any time to sign up to receive automated setup reminder notices.
