I took this course to fulfill my social science requirement for my degree. I was skeptical about it at first but this class turned out to be one of the most enjoyable classes I've had in awhile!
This course opened my mind to the possibility of going into that field of study. Not only was i always interested in this subject but when i took this course, it really made me realize my potentials.
I want to purse a career in forensic psychology so this course helped open up a whole new world for me. It helped me to understand the different dimensions forensics and although it is meant for forensic anthropologists, it really boosted my interest in the field. It took the forensic investigations of crime to a new level.
I learned alot. Alot more than I expected.
It wasn't related to my major, but it was interesting.

Maybe do an extra credit problem every week? important information can easily not be retained during the lectures but when the teacher makes it an extra credit problem, boy does everyone gets it after he reveals the answer.

Dr. Holland does not use a book and at first I didn't understand why, but I soon learned that his intelligence and depth of knowledge is all that is needed to teach this course. However, he does use powerpoints and handouts so it makes up for any hands-on learning. No improvements are needed, Dr. Holland and his brain are enough!

17. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Great
Funny how he talks in a monotone but he kept me awake and had me learning alot of materials all through out the semester! I learned alot about anthropology from Holland's lectures.
Dr. Holland was a ver interesting and informative instructor. His teaching methods made the students learn by taking our own notes. It helped that the test was based on lecture notes, actual models of skulls and exercises. I wish Dr. Holland the best of luck in his future endeavors.
I would have to say this is the best male instructor i have ever had in all my years of schooling. He is very organized and when he lectures, it is all so systematic and easy to grasp, even for someone who is just walking in. I am sadden that this will most likely be his last class. I wish him all the best in his future endeavor.
Dr. Holland is just great. I wish he taught other classes because I would for sure take them! He really knows his stuff and he is a big inspiration to me. I hope I can be just as smart in my field of study as he is one day.
The instructor presented things in a clear and interesting way. He always made sure that we understood the material. Questions were always welcome and answered.
He was very informative, well organized, and knows his subject very well. I'd take other classes with him.
one of the best instructors I had so far. Made the subject matter real easy to remember. Also had a good sense of humor.

20. My overall evaluation of this course is...
Awesome
Very informative! I was amazed at how the instructor didn't require a textbook for the class yet I learned so much about anthropology.
I enjoyed this class. I learned about DNA testing, understand how a body is identified and will be useful in my everyday life.
The course made me speechless. It gives you a reality check and it really opens your eyes up to the world around you. It covered everything it needed to and it really enhances your understanding of what forensic investigations entail. Just an awesome class!
This course was very interesting and fun, I'm glad I was able to take it. I found it exciting and the way everything was presented was good. The visual presentations were excellent, overall this has been one of the best classes I had.
The course was fun.
It was a really good class. People should still take it despite their majors because you can learn so much from it.
