14. Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by ...

The students I met and befriended, and the whole process of getting a band together, making sure their egos are in check and on schedule, and being a leader for them. I'll definitely remember John Vierra, and he definitely knows his material, but it is too bad the course and MELE program in general is still so new and not fully developed that I couldn't get any more out of him than what time fractured rubric allowed (and his personal time away from class allowed). Being tough Remembering the small details that will pull me through with my field of work. the concepts it thought me. How strong of a foundation it has helped me build. I remember being in AET 1 watching one of the AET 2 students do their practical wondering how I'd ever get to that level, and now after completing the practical successfully it has made me realize how much I've learned.

15. What things did you get from this course that will benefit you personally?

Good friends, interesting relationships between persons and personalities, better communication, greater attention to discipline in terms of what exactly the mentor/teacher wants from a final product, etc... Audio engineering details It's harder to work with people but i needed to learn how to balance the work with two people. the basic skills to being an audio engineer. Pretty much everything in this course has benefited me in some way or the other.

Hope the program continues to grow, as it is not yet on par rubric-ly and on par with higher learning standards than other programs in the world. Still, I am very glad for the MELE program as it provided an outlet for me to invest my time and energy into when I was sort of wandering for a year prior. For that, I very do hope that quality continues to improve and not decline - regardless of whether the Hawaii music industry decides to cooperate or not...this program will provide something unique for certain students and they will be very grateful. n/a Would have liked if the professor did more engaging things in class and showing us examples him self, rather then telling us what to go try on our own. I find that this is a better way to give us an idea so that we can tackle it on our own with some sense. Great class. I didn't like the pressure at first from the teacher but I see how it has helped me greatly become a better engineer.
