12. What changes would you make in the clinical experiences?
None. Enjoyed the clinical experiences!
She rocks!!!
more practicum under close supervision
No changes
I think more hands on experience is needed and although the clinic that we worked at was a very safe and amiable environment, there didn't seem to be a lot of variety or very much time to really look into patient files and get familiar with the computer system.
Have the instructor include their own experiences in the clinical setting that may help to guide students in gaining enough confidence.
Do more things in dry lab besides the same thing over and over
None
Should not be required of RN to BSN students. While not instructors fault the opportunity to test out should have been made available prior to registration.
No change
Nothing
13. What changes would you make in the writing assignments?
I believe the writing assignments were fair. I have no suggestions for any changes.
Nothing. She is very reasonable and awesome.
writing assignments were fine
No changes
The writing assignments were very helpful in their format of using mostly bullet points as it was concise and straight to the point. Maybe having more guidelines on how they should have been done since the instructors of the lecture class and other clinicals all seemed to vary so it's unclear to what is really acceptable in a professional setting.
None, it was sufficient and thorough. Good practice.
None
no change. I like the way we can send our assigments electronically.

Jane Wellman is an awesome instructor! She is very supportive and gave me the confidence needed to approach the clinical setting. Would the department please consider having her teach other semesters besides semester one? Please! I highly recommend her! Thanks, Jane for the support and overall encouragement!
new location, new teacher, new field of study, growing pains, well worth it
Exceptional professor. Very knowledgeable, an effective communicator, and fair. Takes a genuine interest in the progress/success of her students.
Jane Johndrow/Wellman was an excellent clinical instructor who was always friendly and willing to help her students. She communicated well with us and spoke to us as equals, never talking down to us despite her status as an instructor. She truly made the clinical enjoyable and a learning experience, helping us to be able to adapt to the setting and ease us into gaining experience, especially for those of us who have never had any experience with patients or being in a hospital setting before. She was also very knowledgeable about the material and always willing to share tips and answer our questions. Overall I would definitely like to have her as a professor or clinical instructor again if I had the chance! Thank you Professor Wellman for making our first semester an enjoyable experience! (:
Great experience.
Great teacher, loved the class, learned lot of new things. Would recommend teacher to friends and would take her again
Great instructor. Thoroughly explained content.
Professor Johndrow is an extremely effective instructor that I have learned so much from. She thoroughly encourages her students and is extremely friendly and approachable! Wonderful clinical experiences because of her!!!
An awesome instructor, Professor Johndrow worked closely with each student to provide everyone with a wonderful hands on clinical experience. Her knowledge base and professionalism provided a superb foundation for this group.
Professor Wellman (Johndrow) was always helpful in making sure that we learned the material. If I did something incorrectly, then she would clearly explain how it should be done properly. She made it a great experience in the dry lab and at our clinical location.
very enjoyable clinical instructor. very knowledgeable in course content and taught us in a way that was very clear and understandable.
Professor Johndrow was a very great teacher! I would not have changed teachers for a second. I learned a great deal from her while she encouraged me to do my best. She always made me and the class feel very comfortable. I really enjoyed being her student.
Great Lab class, allowed me to slowly immerse myself in patient care without being overwhelmed. Patients are unpredictable and this experience has allowed me to witness this first hand.
I could have really great time to have experiences with the instructor. Responced questions easy to understand. I am glad that I could take this course. Thank you very much.
