13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?
I like how he makes sure that everyone is understanding the topic we're on. I like how after we do our homework, we would get into little groups and do a presentation after the assignment is finished.
I enjoyed this class and learned a lot. Although a very serious subject matter, it was delivered in a palatable way.

14. Any suggestions to improve this course?
Nothing.
None that I can think of. The only thing was that I had a fifth edition and it really needed to be the sixth edition because of the many additions. So perhaps that can be stated in the book ordering. I would borrow other students and even Chef Paul's copy from time to time to ensure I had the complete questions.
Keep up what is done. We need to implement our inspection findings. I did a few.

All of our luncheons were fun and a good way to learn what it's like do deal with customers.
I loved the hands on coursework we got.

We were really hands on this year and I really enjoyed that.
I enjoyed all the food cultures visited in this course.
Hands on and cooking in the kitchen.
I liked that we got to practice our dishes the day before our luncheon. That really helped take pressure off.

I had some experience being the front of the house- many years ago. However, I still learned a lot and gained more experience as well.

I really enjoyed learning about all of the ways we can keep food safe, and the way he explains things make everything so much easier.
i enjoied it all. had a blast role playing. it helped understand the material
Activities, projects, and class projects. I liked interacting with others.
The course is also easy but it is fun too...
The class showed good participation.
I like that we got to watch movies on safety and sanitation and do group work.
I learned alot about sanitation in the food industry and how to make it safe to serve food in resturants so nobody gets sick.
In this course I like how we got to work in groups to discuss what we were learning because its alot more helpful when you can discuss and get feed back from the other students. Also Chef Paul was very thorough, i liked how wen went over the whole book.
That I developed a useful set of skills.
The assignments for each section really helped me actually educate myself on each subject.

learning about a lot of different types of dangers in the kitchen and learning how many ways you are able to prevent those dangers. the activities we do in class helps us learn from ourselves and also our peers when we present our assignments assigned to our groups.
I enjoyed having the teams grouping up to answer the sanitation questions it helped me understand from everyone's perspective and i got what the assignments were asking. I thought having mini quizzes here an there was a smart idea, it was less stressful on i think everyone
I like the test to make sure I understand the course material.

Wished we got to watch more examples of sanitation videos or at least visit restaurants to see how they keep their work space clean
Chef Paul knows exactly the sanitation and safety rules without using the book. I was very impressed. He is well-prepared and use different learning styles to teach the material- like videos, play-roles, tests, and class discussions.
