I like Erin Yafuso. I think she was a fun teacher!
I enjoyed this course. I would take another class from this instuctor.
i ask a lot of questions to better understand things i have trouble with and erin was always more then kind and patient with me. she took extra time to explain and was never short with me. i would and have recomended her to any and all students i know who are prepairing for botany 101-
I thought Erin was very helpful and a wonderful teacher. She knew her subject very, very well, and did her best to answer the plethora of questions she was faced with. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in studying plants at the molecular level.
She's very fun and makes botany an interesting subject. I must say that it was one of my favorite classes, the people in it made it entertaining with everyone's questions and comments. I could see myself becoming a botanist, but we'll see.

she good teacher willing to help but. when she give test she should give a study guide. and do littel by littel so much infromation to know if fail one test so hard get back
She is very smart and has a good heart, but needs some guidance. With that she will become a good instructor.
This instructor's exams are not always reflective of the information that has been taught to students. This sets students up for failure. Questions are often purposefully wording in a way that is misleading or confusing. This instructor is not always able to articulate in ways that students can understand the information that is being covered during lecture. Students will asked questions are not actually answered, the instructor talks in circles and never actually answers the students question in a simple concrete way. This course has been somewhat disappointing in the methods and procedures. This student has had to go back after the instructor and explain to fellow students basic concepts covered in class, because the instructor was not able to explain in a way that was clear and concise to students. Additionally, I find it disappointing that many of my fellow students, who are not interested in biological sciences, but are merely taking this course to fulfill their AA requirements, are now totally turned off to the study of botany and plant sciences because of this course and the instructor's teaching style.
Erin Yafuso knows a lot about the subject matter. However, the way she presents the material can be very confusing. I don't like how she crams all this information into one class period. I get confused and then the next class, it doubles, and the next, triples. The material that she teaches is too dense to understand in such a short time period. She is very knowledgable, but should present the material in a better way.
