| GuanPei seems to try hard to communicate what she is teaching, but she is lacking in many areas. Her english is not good and it is hard to understand her lectures. Her presentations seem unorganized and very long and most classes we don't see the end of the powerpoint. She needs to work on her teaching skills.
There is one thing that really bothered me about her methods. She handed out a midterm evaluation, which after I turned in without my name on, GuanPei matched my handwriting to my homework and wrote a personal response to my evaluation. I feel this is a major violation of the confidentiality of having no fear of unfair treatment for stating my feelings on the course and instructor. While I haven't received any special treatment from her, negative or positive, I still feel that she has crossed a very well defined line that should not be crossed. |
| she needs to make more in-class activities and talk more slowly for the students to understand her..other than that, she's a good instructor!!! |
| I think it wouldve helped if she would have been more engaging with the class. I understand our
class was not very talkative, but I dont think she challenged us enough intellectually of what we
actually think about our political systems. |
