5. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
I knew absolutely nothing about political science/governments/countries etc. Everything taught in this class was useful to me. At times I felt like I didn't really belong in the class, however the challenge helped me learn a lot about the subject matter.
The blogs were pretty fun! I liked interacting with people
Easy class, and have vast knowledge gained fromt the class
Seeing how pop culture ties in with a lot of political situations that occur today.
The presentations and blog posts.
The best part about this course was actually being able to learn so much about a topic. I felt that Katie had full knowledge about the subject matter and I was able to hold full confidence in her about what I was learning. Also, being able to blog was a different experience because I have never had to do that for any other course before.
power point presentation
Comparing the different political systems of other nations.
Actually learning the regime of different countries other than our very own United States of America.
The presentations and the readings were very helpful and detailed which really allowed me to gain a good, solid knowledge on the topics covered in class.
Everything was good
The Blog post. Blog post required that you at least get a basic understanding of readings and forced you to discover/research your specific country.
The blog posts and current events. The readings were good, as well.
although , the work was often hard and tedious and challenging the professor had shown great patience and flexiblity for the work to be understoood and done
6. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
Honestly everything was pretty helpful to me. Even the map quizzes helped my knowledge.
I absolutely hated the readings. I didn't learn anything from them. Too long to retain anything
The long paper
I thought every part of the class worked well and I enjoyed most aspects.
Map quizzes
I found nothing that was least valuable about this course. However, the reading sometimes seemed to be a stretch.
Weeky Blogs Having 3 is to much writing for a non WI course.
Learning how to blog.
The weekly blog reports.
NONE!
-
Nothing, everything had a purpose.
The map quizes. I memorized them for the grade but as soon as the quiz was over the countries were forgotten. Maybe come up with a new way of evaluating the knowledge of geography. One that encourages us to retain the information.
the work was tedious and the due dates were often on days i had work or and occuaption another thing was the concept of the reading although it was helpful many of the pieces of work were quite long and seem very diffcult to understand.

14. Other comments:
It was at times difficult for me to follow in class, but it is a 300-level class. Over all I learned a lot and enjoyed the class. The blogs were frustrating at times, but I found the country blog very useful in preparing me for the country report.
She has a long Future with UH Manoa
I think this course was interesting but a lot challenging at the sametime. I advise that people should gain a little more knowledge than just having an introduction to pols sci 110 on politics before engaging in this course. Other than that, if politics is in your interest then this class is worth taking.
Great course! I hope I can take another poli sci course with you as the instructor!
The course was an amazing and taught me a lot about the world and the different countries in it! Brennan taught the material in a fun and easy way and was extremely helpful and willing to assit you in any way needed.
2 sustains 1 improve sustain: the video clips, they help to relate poli sci to something we see daily and thereby encourages us to relate what we see daily to poli sci. sustain: the readings, although it was sometimes difficult to post by the deadlines, the readings were very interesting and informational improve: the map quizzes, especially the African map quiz which had like 82 countries and the most difficult names of all.
please keep up the good work and sorry about this semester i promise to try harder
