This is a well rounded course, material is all covered well, and the exams covered material well. As an intro course this course is a broad spectrum of the overall degree and what the job will be later on. I enjoyed coming to class everyday. Lectures were great and then examples were of real life situations/experiences which help retain the information and remember it for exams later on. I look forward to taking another class with this instructor. projects should have had a bit more instructions, clarify I can't say what amazing teacher Sam is. If there was ever a model, she would be the ideal . Despite all the things she has going on, she would spend hours of her free time helping me and any one of her students that asked . She is An amazing teacher, one that we all learned from exceptionally well. She is a talented woman, and a rare gem to find. So thankful and blessed to be her pupil this year. Good choice windward you got the best ! good teacher. N/A This is my second semester with her. She's an amazing and understanding teacher. Her goal is to set us up for success. She's an amazing teacher. Sam is a very good Vet Tech/teacher! Very understanding and helpful! Makes things/subject clear for students. Professor Craddock always knows what she is talking about, and has a knack for bringing humor into the equation appropriately. I would love to take more classes with her. I have totally enjoyed this class. Look forward to more vet,tech. classes with her and here at WCC. I believe that we will become accredited and I will become a Vet. Tech. under Sa's teachings and supervision. Very good teacher! Think she should have some other materials that goes towards her student's grades besides exams. She needs to have some small homework assignment's that can help a student's grades. Don't know of very many classes where your grade is only based off exams, pretty unfair and unrealistic. She should also print off a list telling her students EXACTLY what they should know for the exam. Then her students might get better grades on them. A lot of the tests in this class cover a lot of information making it very hard to study. It would make it easier and I think I would retain more information if we had more tests on less information. I'm very glad you are my teacher and I'm looking forward to future classes with you. Thank you She really knows what she is talking about, and always comes prepared. There hasn't been a day that she has been late, or comes to class unprepared. I must say that as a first year college student, I did find this Intro to Animal Science a bit challenging, but it won't deter me from continuing my education in this subject matter, thanks to Katherine Craddock! I want to be her student next semester as well!!

Great teacher, love how she sets up exams, powerpoints are very informative and helpful. Wish she taught all the Vet Assisting/Tech classes! :) Professor Craddock is that one teacher that everyone needs to have and should have. She is friendly, approachable, prompt, fair, and knows her subject well. N/A some students should be limited on the amount of stupid questions to ask Shes an amazing teacher!! In this class, sam didnt underestimate us. She cares about our wellbeing and knowledge base as students, but also wants us to be good at our field (veterinary technicians). She cares about our future clients and animals we will work with. In that way, she worked really hard at getting us to understand the material TO THE FULL. so that it would be effective and we could be the best we can be for ourselves as well as others. This class, although alot of memorization and time, was very interesting. Because of sam i did understand the material well and enjoyed learning. I wouldnt have wanted to be taught by anyone else. I would recommend for the test to incorporate information from previous test whether it be bonus or just an added section. That way we are less likely to just dump old information and actually retain more. I'm very glad you are my teacher and I'm looking forward to future classes with you. Thank you Katherine Craddock is a great teacher, but there is alot more improvements that need to be made. More stimulating and motivational lessens should be given to motivate the students and keep them interested. I feel that the students and myself would learn better and things would stick better and be easier to remember if some of the lesson plan were different than it is every week, which is memorize the power point. But other than that, I like her. I really liked the extra points on the exams for the true or false questions. It really helped me out A LOT! Keep up the good work! I'm not too fond of the fill in the blank questions because I have trouble remembering them without seeing a word bank. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I disliked the quizzes In lab, sam was always there for questions but always encouraged us to seek and learn material. instead of just force feeding us, like most classes nowadays, she stimulated our questions and passion to learn. In that way, everything is so much more memorable than most classes ive had. Just to give an example, she is spending around 12 hours setting up an exam with real specimens- and finding the best to test with- just so we can use our dissected material. Other teachers encouraged her to put up a slideshow of pictures which would take an hour or two, but she refused knowing that using the real animal is better for us as students. what an amazing and hard working teacher. be more considerate about the time of the class, other people travel far from home for this lab class and i don't like getting home after 9 pm every week I'm very glad you are my teacher and I'm looking forward to future classes with you. Thank you

Love having prof. Craddock. She makes it fun, interesting, and relaxed as this course can be. I don't feel stressed or intimidated, just excited and eager to be in her class. She knows her stuff well and has good examples. Awesome prof Craddock! :D This class was a good experience for me as a lot of what was learned in the past semesters was applied in a real animal clinic setting. I was able to gain more knowledge of becoming a technician through this internship program. I think programs like these not only help both the student and the clinic but also helps promote WCC's Veterinary Technician Program and encourages possible job offering for said student in the near future.
