| This is a well rounded course, material is all covered well, and the exams
covered material well.
As an intro course this course is a broad spectrum of the overall degree and
what the job will be later on.
I enjoyed coming to class everyday. Lectures were great and then examples
were of real life situations/experiences which help retain the information
and remember it for exams later on.

Despite all the things she has going on, she would spend hours of her free time helping me

grades besides exams. She needs to have some small homework assignment's that
can help a student's grades. Don't know of very many classes where your grade
is only based off exams, pretty unfair and unrealistic. She should also print
off a list telling her students EXACTLY what they should know for the exam.
Then her students might get better grades on them. |
| A lot of the tests in this class cover a lot of information making it very hard to study. It would make it easier and I think I would retain more information if we had more tests on less information. |

| In this class, sam didnt underestimate us. She cares about our wellbeing and knowledge base as
students, but also wants us to be good at our field (veterinary technicians). She cares about our
future clients and animals we will work with. In that way, she worked really hard at getting us to
understand the material TO THE FULL. so that it would be effective and we could be the best we can
be for ourselves as well as others. This class, although alot of memorization and time, was very
interesting. Because of sam i did understand the material well and enjoyed learning. I wouldnt have
wanted to be taught by anyone else. |
| I would recommend for the test to incorporate information from previous test whether it be bonus or just an added section. That way we are less likely to just dump old information and actually retain more. |

| Katherine Craddock is a great teacher, but there is alot more improvements that need to be made. More stimulating and motivational lessens should be given to motivate the students and keep them interested. I feel that the students and myself would learn better and things would stick better and be easier to remember if some of the lesson plan were different than it is every week, which is memorize the power point.
But other than that, I like her. |
| I really liked the extra points on the exams for the true or false questions. It really helped me out A LOT! Keep up the good work! I'm not too fond of the fill in the blank questions because I have trouble remembering them without seeing a word bank. I don't know, maybe it's just me. |

| In lab, sam was always there for questions but always encouraged us to seek and learn material.
instead of just force feeding us, like most classes nowadays, she stimulated our questions and
passion to learn. In that way, everything is so much more memorable than most classes ive had. Just
to give an example, she is spending around 12 hours setting up an exam with real specimens- and
finding the best to test with- just so we can use our dissected material. Other teachers encouraged
her to put up a slideshow of pictures which would take an hour or two, but she refused knowing that
using the real animal is better for us as students. what an amazing and hard working teacher. |

| This class was a good experience for me as a lot of what was learned in the past semesters was applied in a real animal clinic setting. I was able to gain more knowledge of becoming a technician through this internship program. I think programs like these not only help both the student and the clinic but also helps promote WCC's Veterinary Technician Program and encourages possible job offering for said student in the near future. |
