| I don't think student evaluations should be graded. Pass/Fail Credit/No Credit seems more
appropriate considered students have different skill levels, different preceptors, different
experiences, 40% of grade is ridiculous. i'll never get a 5/5 on many evaluation components in my
first two semesters because I'm still learning and I accept that but to have it affect my grade by 40%
is unfair considering I need grades for scholarships. |

10. What things did you get from this course that will benefit you personally?

| I learned a lot about public health nursing, more than what I learned in lecture. We had a wonderful site to have clinicals and the divided projects have taught us so much. Even though we focused on one project, we got to learn about the others as well. The presentations, guest speakers, and various activities were also very beneficial and inspiring. Also, the teaching projects were a lot of fun. I feel like we were truly able to give back to the community and make a positive impact. Also, the journals were nice to have because it allowed us to reflect on our experiences. |
| I now have a different perspective for the homeless people. Before, I did not want to go near them or talk to them. After my project, I gained a better understanding for them and their situation.
I also enjoyed doing Hodge Podge every month. It made me learn more about diabetes, medications, physical activities. It makes me happy that it appears this program is making a difference in the participants' lives. |

| GREAT COURSE, GREAT INSTRUCTOR!! |
| I started this semester thinking I was going to dislike community nursing. I came to enjoy it very much and learned from Anne the amount of time and progress that goes into community health nursing.
I got to learn about many different things in the Kalihi area. I am glad we broke up into 4 different groups, which allowed me to learn different aspects and perspectives on the community. |
| Excellent. My favourite course this semester. There were plenty of opportunities to apply what we learn in lectures. The course is very realistic. |

| I am going to miss Anne. She has been such a wonderful and one of the most helpful instructors i had. She is always so patient with all of us and always willing to help us out. It is so helpful that she knows the ins and outs of the Kalihi area, allowing us to improve our group projects. With her connections, we are able to network out. Also, she is always so motivating and accepting of all our ideas. I love how she is not afraid to try new things and always demonstrates this. |
