13. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?

She is very encouraging to get our work done and knowledgable about various topics.

This was my first online class and it went well. She offered all the materials necessary.I like the fact that she is knowledgeable in the subject of Journalism. I trust her teaching styles in hopes that she prepares us in the field.

She is very effective and understanding about any questions that I had about the subject matter throughout the coure. Quick to respond through email and the answers to my questions were helpful to my knowledge.

This teacher really knows her subject. She makes it easier for students to understand the assignments. She has great assignments that allows you to have an open mind and to speak what is on your mind freely.

14. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?

She seemed to be busy with her other job so she was late with returning assignments and putting the quiz available online.

15. How did the instructor show concern for students?

She would give feedback on all our papers everyweek.

She always reminded students to get their work done. She opted more than enough time for us to get work done and would send reminders. She also has been gracious enough to allow a late work period.

She always left her window open for questions or concerns.

The teacher showed concern by emailing students if they have missed any assignments. She also lets students know where they stand on their grade

16. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?

Yes because she makes things very relatable to our lives which helps us(me) to understand.

Yes! She is very friendly and makes the class enjoyable even if it is restricted to online.

Yes, she was a very good teacher in my eyes.

I would definitely recommend this teacher to anyone because this teacher isn't too strict on keeping views or opinions limited, she really allows room for a student to speak their mind.

15. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?

finding guest speakers, making and lecturing from powerpoints

She has a lot of experiences in media and a lot of connection.

Her great credibility of being an editor for the Star Advertiser, which in depth proves that she knows a lot about journalism.

She knows the material and treated the students fairly

16. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?

Have us do more papers and give us midterms. I felt like this was the easiest class I have ever taken in my life. I felt like I did not learn much from the text book. Also, don't come in late and relocate the room where the class is going to be held in. I contemplated complaining to the dean, but felt it was not worth it--it was not going to change the way the class was run. This was a waste of my money and time. Its a wonder why students never came to class--it was not worth it.

I wish we can be more interactive...

I wouldn't chance anything about the class, I thought it was truly well prepared.

17. How did the instructor show concern for students?

By telling us when everything is due and asking if we have any questions

She e mailed us and informed in class.

Always told us that if we need anything to send an email or give her a call on her phone.

Willing to listen to each student's concerns and prompt email responses

18. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?

NO!!!! she is too lackadasical--I felt she brought in guests speakers because she could not really teach.

Yes.. even though we have some mechanical problems in class she is a great teacher who lead us to journalism.

Definately, I though journalism was going to be a hard boring class but it ended up being something very fun and interesting.

Yup. Because she knows the topic

19. What else would you like to say about this instructor?

Don't be late for class and never move the room to another place.

I appreciate all the lectures in early morning. I enjoyed all guest speakers' speech during the class and see the world in many different ways.

Keep up the good work, I'm really honored to have been a part of your class.
